Her exhibiton credits include her BFA Thesis shows, From The Inside Out, Showtime, and La Otra Puerta at the Wolfsonian and Florida International University. Artist Statement

As a mixed media artist, my work is driven by the mental and physical journey growing up with acne, and exploring how childhood memories, human experiences, and societies expectations, can influence my creative process. I explore various forms of media, from paint to yarn, in order to express certain ideas within this theme. The recurring use of yarn references both a form of therapy as well as an experimental approach that speaks on textures and the complexity of human skin. I have also used mirrors as a painting surface to contrast the concept of “glass skin.” I approach each work by focusing on a certain psychological theme and discovering how certain materials will communicate it most successfully. The concept of society's expectations has often appeared in my recent works as I challenge this idea and rather encourage my audience to embrace their bodies as beautiful and organic forms that are in a constant state of growth. Through this evolving process, I encourage viewers to reflect on their own identities and find the beauty within, even in the most vulnerable moments, offering a space for mental, physical, and emotional growth.
